Westinghouse Nuclear Spain SAU in Madrid is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the segmentation, radiation, waste management and decommissioning team. You will develop project-specific tools for cutting and handling radioactive components and create 3D CAD designs.

The role reports to the Segmentation Engineering Manager, offers a hybrid work model, and requires strong CAD experience and English fluency; Swedish is a plus. Occasional travel to Sweden may be included.

Formación

• Bachelor / Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, including mechanical designs in CAD.
• Solid design know-how, and experience with ProEngineer/CREO valuable.
• Fluent in English both verbal and writing, and Swedish valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Make 3D simulations in CAD of the cutting and of the packing in containers.
• Develop detailed designs for the manufacturing of the tools.
• Write instructions to our technicians who will use the tools
