We are located in Málaga, near the beach and mountains. Our building is located 13 km from the city center in the beautiful Málaga TechPark, surrounded by large green spaces ( https : / / www.pta.es / en / ).

We are expanding and currently hiring an experienced Senior Localization Project Manager for the Video Games vertical to work in our fast-paced Localization Department with English as our main language of communication.

Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage multilingual projects of different platforms, genres and sizes in a deadline-driven environment. You will have full ownership of your projects from RFQ to final delivery, ensuring exceptional service with successful project completion and consistent customer satisfaction while developing relationships and meeting or exceeding their expectations. You are expected to bring industry knowledge sharing best practices, technical and strategic solutions and meet or improve the expected margins.

Requirements

  • A degree in Translation, Linguistics, Business or similar
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in games Localization Project Management in a senior PM level in the games vertical
  • Knowledge of quality standards, quality evaluation practices and tools
  • Able to manage multilingual projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to anticipate possible issues and challenges
  • Able to successfully solve unexpected issues with minor impact and with a proactive and positive “can do” attitude
  • Proactive in solutions implementation, process improvements and customer-facing aspects
  • Flexible with working hours
  • CAT Tools : especially memoQ
  • IT literacy : especially Microsoft Office suite
  • Languages : English with full working proficiency, other languages are a plus
  • Experience working with ISO-based requirements is a plus
  • Experience in leading in-house translation teams on-site is a plus
  • Experience in MT and AI is a plus
  • Experience with Japanese customers is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regularly including face-to-face meetings to find out their needs and concerns
  • Full ownership of successful project execution and delivery according to customer's quality expectations, time and budget requirements
  • Prepare and lead kick-off meetings and ongoing project meetings
  • Cost tracking ensuring margins and expected profitability
  • Risk analysis and mitigation plans
  • Follow and create ISO-based procedures making recommendations for process improvements
  • Build good relationships, provide leadership and mentoring to team members including quality assurance processes, resource selection, costs, etc.
  • Efficient collaboration with LQA department
  • Resource selection, monitoring and management
  • Identify new business opportunities
