Aily Labs, a B2B SaaS company building an AI-powered decision intelligence app, is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to join the Agent Pillar in a hybrid setup (Madrid, Barcelona or Munich).

You will own complex features, ground agents in structured data, coordinate multi-agent workflows, and mentor teammates while delivering production-grade Python solutions with typing and async patterns.

About This Team - Agent Pillar

We develop the Super Agent – an agentic decision advisor that guides users from questions to decisions through natural dialogue. We also create vertical decision intelligence agents that synthesize insights across domains, helping F500 clients turn complex data into measurable business outcomes. This is all pulled together with the GenAI systems that surface insights and decision triggers to ensure users can respond to risks and opportunities immediately. We're building production LLM systems at enterprise scale – which means tackling hard problems in evaluation, reliability, and latency while staying at the research frontier. Our challenges include grounding agents in structured business data, coordinating multi-agent workflows, and ensuring robust performance in high-stakes decision contexts. We pair strong engineering with applied research, contributing to the field through publications and establishing technical differentiation in a fast-moving space.

Your profile

Core responsibilities - 5+ years of experience

• Own complex features and lead technical initiatives from design to implementation — grounding agents in structured business data, multi-agent orchestration, context/memory, tool use, and fast/deep response paths, in production-grade, async, typed Python
• Take strong ownership of quality and performance: evaluation frameworks, monitoring, latency, and reliability of your team's developments in production.
• Interact with other functions and agree on exchange protocols and architecture (Data Engineering, Backend, …).
• Sponsor the creation and implementation of new software and ML standards; mentor junior teammates on technical topics, including Python engineering practices (typing, async, testability).
• Communicate and align with internal and external stakeholders: present and explain the AI behind business outcomes.

• Someone with a startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and hands-on when something needs fixing or improving — beyond your immediate scope.
• Ready to Lead Boldly – helping business leaders make decisive, high-stakes AI insights.
• Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Spain or Germany
