Job summary

Hupp IT Careers is seeking a Medior/Senior Back-end Developer (PHP/Laravel) for a Dutch digital agency, remote from Valencia. You will build custom Laravel applications for clients with high standards, translating requirements into solid technical solutions and taking ownership of features.

You will work with Laravel 12, PHP 8.4+, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Elasticsearch, hosted on AWS and DigitalOcean, using Laravel Forge and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience with Laravel or another PHP framework.
• You write readable, maintainable code.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Independent but collaborative and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; AWS, Terraform or DevOps experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Laravel applications for clients.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and take ownership of features.
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy; safeguard code quality and performance.
• Coach medior and junior developers and participate in code reviews.
