Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Lab Technician II to assist in executing laboratory experiments under supervision, preparing materials, running tests, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The role involves data compilation, collaboration on methods, and supporting ongoing improvements within R&D, Quality, and Operations teams.

Requirements include a formal science/health-related technical education and 3+ years of lab experience, with fluency in Spanish or Catalan and basic English.

Qualifications

• Must have Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio in science/health with laboratory experience.
• Three years of experience as Lab Technician in relevant labs or environments.
• Fluency in Spanish or Catalan; basic knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments as trained.
• Prepare materials, reagents, and equipment; maintain lab notebooks and records.
• Operate general and specialized laboratory equipment and ensure calibration and maintenance.
• Communicate results and progress to supervisor; assist in data analysis.
• Support training of newcomers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts (5S, Lean).
