A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Consultant to support a major system upgrade in Spain. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in JD Edwards E1 Sales & Distribution, strong knowledge of JDE E1 9.2, and fluency in both Spanish and English. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, ensuring proper testing, and coordinating user trainings during the upgrade cycle. This role is contract-based at a mid-senior level.

Formación

• 15+ years of functional experience in JD Edwards E1 Sales & Distribution.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JDE E1 9.2 and previous involvement in version upgrades.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end processes: Order to Cash (OTC), Distribution, and related modules.
• Ability to identify system gaps, document functional changes, and propose process improvements.

Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne - Sales & Distribution Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) 9.2 Sales & Distribution Functional Consultant to support a major system upgrade and ensure a seamless transition for business users across all operational areas.

Responsibilities

Upgrade & Impact Analysis

• Analyze existing business processes and identify impacts related to the JD Edwards E1 9.2 application upgrade.
• Conduct net change workshops and post‑upgrade workshops with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to assess impacts on technical objects due to the upgrade and support required fixes.

Testing & Validation

• Ensure all business processes are properly tested and approved by end users.
• Support and guide users during System Integration Testing (SIT), ensuring end‑to‑end process validation in the upgraded environment.
• Perform functional testing across all business scenarios to confirm correct behavior after the upgrade.
• Assist and validate results during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing necessary functional expertise.

Documentation & Change Management

• Identify and document all functional changes impacted by the application upgrade.
• Ensure successful transition of existing processes into the newly upgraded system environment.
• Coordinate user trainings and provide continuous support throughout the upgrade cycle.

Tools & Technical Collaboration

• Work with JDE tools such as:
• Utilize third‑party tools such as SQL for data validation, queries, and investigation.
• Partner with technical teams for troubleshooting, defect resolution, and validation of technical objects.

Requirements

• 15+ years of functional experience in JD Edwards E1 Sales & Distribution.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of JDE E1 9.2 and previous involvement in version upgrades.
• Experience conducting workshops, leading SIT/UAT activities, and working directly with business users.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end processes: Order to Cash (OTC), Distribution, and related modules.
• Ability to identify system gaps, document functional changes, and propose process improvements.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (mandatory).
