Job summary

BESTSECRET in Málaga invites a Senior Java Software Engineer to join an international team building a modern, Kubernetes-based supply platform.

You will develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot, collaborate with product managers and designers, and help ensure scalable, reliable systems that enable data-driven decision making and insightful KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and distributed systems.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Exposure to cloud platforms and container technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js is a plus.
• Interest in data, analytics, or machine learning topics is a plus.
• A hands-on, team-oriented mindset with attention to code quality and maintainability, paired with fluent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for our buying platform using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver features in efficient release cycles.
• Work with cross-functional teams across Tech, Buying, and Business Intelligence.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Support architectural decisions and help ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
