Job summary

AgileEngine in Valencia is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build secure, scalable server-side solutions, including a client integration system built from the ground up. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust software.

Qualifications

5+ years of SaaS experience.
High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
Observability understanding and strong CI/CD practices.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and lead others.
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and build a clean, reusable client integration system with secure cloud software best practices.
Collaborate with Design and Product to understand requirements, estimate work, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
Plan and estimate development work and delivery timelines accurately.
Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency.
Review code submitted by other software engineers and submit your own code for review as part of the pull-request deployment process.
