Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build secure, scalable server-side solutions, including a client integration system built from the ground up in Sevilla.

You will work with Design and Product teams, estimate work, plan sprints, and contribute to automated build and deployment processes. The role requires 5+ years SaaS experience, strong Java and SQL, microservices knowledge, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SaaS experience.
• High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
• Strong CI/CD practices and observability.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a clean, reusable client integration system following secure cloud software best practices.
• Collaborate with Design and Product teams to understand requirements, estimate work, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
• Plan and estimate development work and delivery timelines accurately.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes.
• Review code and submit your own for review as part of the pull-request deployment process.
