UST España & Latam busca un Desarrollador Senior (Java & Kafka) para un proyecto internacional dentro de un entorno ágil y colaborativo.

El candidato ideal aporta amplia experiencia en Java 8+, Spring Boot, microservicios y Apache Kafka, orientado a arquitecturas orientadas a eventos y soluciones de alta calidad. Se ofrece flexibilidad de trabajo remoto, beneficios y planes de desarrollo profesional.

Formación

• Mínimo 4 años de experiencia en Java y arquitecturas de microservicios.
• Mínimo 4 años trabajando con Apache Kafka.
• Nivel de inglés B2 o superior.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener aplicaciones escalables basadas en microservicios.
• Desarrollar y optimizar arquitecturas event-driven con Apache Kafka.
• Aplicar principios de diseño y buenas prácticas para soluciones de alta calidad.
• Implementar y mantener aplicaciones con Java 8+ y Spring Boot.
• Participar en revisiones de código, pruebas e iniciativas de mejora continua.
• Colaborar estrechamente con equipos Agile interdisciplinares.
• Contribuir a decisiones de arquitectura y diseños técnicos.
• Participar en el horario rotativo de soporte 24/7 (aprox. una semana cada 3-4 meses).

What we look for?

We are currently looking for a Senior Developer (Java & Kafka) to join an exciting international project within a highly collaborative Agile environment.

A passionate and experienced software engineer with strong expertise in Java microservices architectures and Apache Kafka, eager to contribute to high-impact projects while working with modern technologies and best development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications.
• Develop and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Apply software design principles and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Implement and maintain applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical designs.
• Participate in the team's rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule (approximately one week every 3-4 months).

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience working with Apache Kafka.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as

• PostgreSQL
• Oracle
• MongoDB
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Availability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Reactive Programming.
• Experience with API design and specification standards (OAS3/OpenAPI).
• Additional technical skills or experience that can bring value to the project.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
