Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build secure, scalable server-side solutions and a client integration system from the ground up. You will work with Design and Product teams to understand requirements, estimate work, plan sprints, and ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong Java/SQL skills, microservices experience, and a DevOps mindset. You’ll operate in a fast-paced SaaS environment with a focus on observability, automated deployments, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SaaS experience.
• High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture.
• DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of observability and familiarity with strong CI/CD practices.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and produce high-quality results.
• Upper-intermediate and higher English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a clean, reusable client integration system following secure cloud software best practices.
• Collaborate with Design and Product teams to understand requirements, estimate work, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
• Plan and estimate development work and delivery timelines accurately.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deployment processes that improve engineering efficiency.
• Review code submitted by other software engineers and participate in pull-request deployments.

• Experience at SaaS companies.
• Experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred).
