UST is seeking a Backend Java/Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8 to join an international Agile team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years with Camunda 8, strong Java/Spring experience, and a passion for scalable, high-quality solutions in a microservices environment.

Responsibilities include designing Camunda 8 BPMN processes, developing components, ensuring quality with tests, and mentoring junior developers. English fluency is required; remote-friendly with travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level minimum, both written and spoken).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Camunda 8.

• Develop, maintain, and evolve software components aligned with team priorities and product roadmap.
• Design and implement Camunda 8 BPMN processes and workflow solutions.
• Ensure software quality through best practices, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
• Define, implement, and maintain automated tests.
• Coach and support junior team members.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Take ownership of software delivery, ensuring quality and scope.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture documentation.
• Work with partner technology teams across locations.
• Refine epics and user stories from a technical perspective.
• Create technical documentation and deliver presentations on new features and technologies.
• Support the Camunda community of practice.

• Support the product, the team, and the Camunda community of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Camunda 8.
• Experience designing and implementing BPMN processes using Camunda 8.

Strong experience with:

• Spring Framework 4+
• Spring Boot (advanced level, 5-6 years preferred)
• Spring Cloud Config
• Spring Data JPA
• Spring MVC
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience building Microservices and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).

Strong knowledge of:

• RESTful APIs
• CI/CD practices and tools
• SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level minimum, both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch & Kibana).
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
