EY GDS Spain in Málaga is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer to join our hybrid team. You will design, develop and optimise enterprise-grade banking applications, collaborating with architects, analysts and product owners in an international setting.

In this role you will work with Java (11/17+), Spring Boot and microservices, contribute to cloud-based solutions, and participate in Agile delivery. Strong English communication is essential for cross-border projects.

Formación

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong coding best practices.
• Good organisational skills.
• Proactive mindset.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Between 4 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and orchestrate services and microservices.
• Back‑end Java development for web applications using Spring Boot.
• Stay up to date with state‑of‑the‑art back‑end development practices and technologies.
• Work in an agile environment, with autonomy in carrying out tasks while benefiting from strong team support.
• Be part of a dynamic team where continuous learning is a key priority.
