LCKY Group is seeking a Principal Java Engineer to drive cloud-native transformations and modernise legacy applications in regulated environments. You will design microservices architectures on AWS, mentor engineers, and lead API-driven initiatives while ensuring security, performance, and compliance.

Your role focuses on cloud, DevOps, and data governance, with potential iGaming industry exposure, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong emphasis on automation and AI-driven

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in Java and large-scale, high-performance applications.
• Proven experience modernising legacy systems in regulated environments.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of DevOps including CI/CD, containerisation, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience designing and managing APIs and data-driven features.
• Mentoring developers through technical transformations.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, ELK) and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the modernisation of legacy applications to meet regulatory standards while improving performance and scalability.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices on AWS.
• Architect high-performance, large-scale Java applications with secure, reliable interfaces.
• Leverage AI to accelerate refactoring and enhance automation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; drive architecture reviews and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Implement DevOps best practices, CI/CD, IaC, and observability.
• Ensure data migration is secure, compliant, and auditable.
