Job summary

Allgon, a Swedish group focusing on wireless control systems, invites applications for a Senior Mobile App Developer position based in Málaga. The role centers on iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, while contributing to Android when needed.

You will work in a hybrid setup with R&D and product management across locations. Ideal candidates have a strong background in iOS, 5+ years of software development, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including 3–5 years of hands‑on iOS development using Swift.
• Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, Cocoa, and CoreData.
• Experience with Git-based source control, modern development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build and release processes.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Understanding of application data synchronization, backup, and offline data management.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with Android/Kotlin, REST APIs, Bluetooth, IoT, or connected-device solutions is meritorious.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Android applications using Kotlin and related technologies.
• Participate in technical design discussions and support the implementation of application architecture.
• Ensure high software quality through code reviews, unit testing, UI testing, and adherence to development best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in application performance, usability, security, and maintainability.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes.
• Participate in requirements analysis, effort estimations, and sprint planning activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to mobile applications and development processes.
