B. Braun is hiring a Healthcare Data & Interoperability Solutions Data Architect to lead semantic governance and domain modeling for clinical data on our Digital Foundation Platform.

You will influence data models across Patient Data Service and Media Service, ensuring standards compliance and real-world care delivery. The role emphasizes healthcare workflows, interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, DICOM), and collaboration with hospital IT, product teams, and engineering.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare data architecture, clinical informatics, or healthcare IT interoperability.
• Strong ability to translate clinical workflows into interoperable data specifications.
• Hands‑on knowledge of HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, DICOM, and IHE integration profiles.
• Experience with data quality, MPI/EMPI strategies, privacy and HIPAA/GDPR considerations.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Data Modeling & FHIR Governance: define profiles, extensions, ValueSets, and mappings.
• Clinical Domain Mapping: model and map data from HIS/EMR to platform resources.
• Media Service strategy: define metadata for imaging and non‑DICOM content.
• Integrate imaging workflows (PACS, VNA, RIS) using DICOMweb and IHE profiles.
• Establish semantic references between imaging and EMR using FHIR resources.
• Act as liaison between clinical IT experts, Product Owners, and engineering teams.
