ING is seeking a talented Google Cloud Security Engineer to join the Global CISO Team at ING Hubs Spain. You will help secure and protect our Google Cloud infrastructure, driving resilient security controls across the cloud stack.

You will work with AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enforce secure configurations and implement encryption, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualificações

• Experience implementing vulnerability management processes and controls.
• Experience validating and enforcing secure configurations of cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with containerized environments (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Programming in Python; scripting with Bash or PowerShell.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Google Cloud Security Engineer to join our ING Global CISO Team at ING Hubs Spain.

This ING Global CISO department is responsible for IT security within ING group and provides services for many organizational units all over the world. We offer a collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with cutting edge technologies.

Your key responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team and become an integral part of our mission to ensure the security and resilience of our cloud infrastructure. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the security and resilience of Google Cloud infrastructure.

• Demonstrated knowledge of security features in GCP Public Cloud platform.
• Experience in implementing Vulnerability Management process and controls.
• Experience in validating and enforcing secure configurations of cloud native solutions.
• Experience with containerized environments (e.g. AKS, K8S, Docker).
• Experience in using version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines in Google Cloud.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Google Cloud (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, facts, and opinions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues, analyze key information, make connections, and find appropriate solutions.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiently and effectively completing tasks to achieve high-quality outcomes.

You’ll get extra points for:

• Knowledge of security features in OCI Public Cloud platform and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Experience with ETL, data analytics and reporting solutions (e.g. Apache NiFi, Kafka).
• Knowledge of network implementations.
• Familiarity with the Kusto Query Language.
• Documentation as Code (Sphinx, reStructuredText).
• Strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies.
• Extra points for cloud and security certificates.
