Job summary

Parser Limited is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Spain with strong backend/API experience and a focus on microservices, security, and performance. You will collaborate with frontend teams to deliver robust, scalable applications and work across cloud platforms, containerization, and modern tooling.

The role requires 8+ years in backend development and a Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience. Flexible remote work is offered with monthly travel to the UK office in Hayes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 8 years of backend development experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture, API development, and frontend integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and API services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless API integration.
• Optimize database queries and schemas for performance and scalability.
• Implement authentication and authorization using industry-standard approaches.
• Develop and maintain web interfaces using ReactJS.
• Manage state with Redux or React Query for complex UIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain high availability.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
• Monitor backend performance with observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Participate in design discussions to improve system robustness.
