Job summary

CORUS Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our globally distributed engineering team. Design, build, test, and deploy scalable web applications across the full stack using modern frameworks.

You will work on front-end and back-end development, build and consume RESTful APIs, and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks (Node.js/Express, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring).
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Based in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications using modern technologies.
• Work on both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby) development.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate actively in an Agile development environment.
