IOON is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive backend in Java 21/Spring Boot 3.x and frontend in Angular 21 in Barcelona, Spain. English fluency (B2+) is required to collaborate across teams.

You will implement robust REST services, work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and XML-heavy integrations, and help shape architecture with hexagonal/DDD in Maven environments. Emphasis on CI/CD, tests, and modern frontend patterns.

Formación

• Senior-level development ervaring met Java 21 en Spring Boot 3.x (REST, JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security).
• Hands-on Angular 21 ervaring, of aantoonbaar vermogen om Angular patterns te adopteren.
• Diepe ervaring met PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations) en MongoDB (document modelling).
• In-depth werk met XML-heavy systemen: XSD, XSLT, parsers, en DSLs of rule engines is een sterke plus.
• Kennis van Redis voor caching/sessie staat.
• Begrip van hexagonal/clean architecture en domain-driven design in multi-module Maven projecten.
• Ervaring met GitHub Actions/CI/CD, SonarQube kwaliteitsk gates en container-workflows (Docker, Kubernetes/Helm).
• Sterke testdiscipline: JUnit 5, Testcontainers, bij voorkeur Cucumber/Gherkin en Playwright.
• Goede Git- en code review cultuur en agile delivery.
• Taakomschrijving: bouw en verbeter frontend features in Angular 21 (signals, standalone components, RxJS, state management).
• Werk mee aan de uitbouw van proprietary PEL-PC XML DSL inclusief XSD/XSLT/ANTLR/XStream, en DDS-achtige logica.
• Ontwikkel nieuwe Spring Boot modules die DSL-driven logica vervangen door onderhoudbare, testbare code.

Responsabilidades

• Build and enhance frontend features in Angular 21 (signals, standalone components, new control flow syntax, RxJS, state management).
• Work with and extend the proprietary PEL-PC XML DSL — including XSD schemas, ANTLR grammar logic, XSLT/Saxon transformations, and XStream serialization.
• Develop new Spring Boot modules that replace DSL-driven logic with maintainable, testable standard code.
• Collaborate in multi-module Maven projects using hexagonal architecture and domain-driven design.
• Maintain strong testing practices with JUnit 5, Testcontainers, Cucumber/Gherkin, and Playwright.
• Embrace Git workflows, code reviews, and agile delivery.
