In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features for a dynamic digital platform that connects multiple stakeholders in the benefits ecosystem. You will own the full lifecycle of features—from conceptualization to production—ensuring they solve real user problems while scaling efficiently for enterprise needs. This position requires strong collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to create intuitive, reliable, and secure systems. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development, working with technologies like Python, TypeScript, and modern cloud infrastructure. The environment is fast-paced, innovative, and emphasizes autonomy, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact the experience of thousands of employees, employers, and service providers, shaping the way benefits are delivered and managed.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, build, and ship product features across the full stack, including backend, frontend, APIs, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to create polished, user-friendly experiences.
  • Participate in technical discovery, architecture planning, and implementation strategy.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet enterprise requirements.
  • Take ownership of features from idea to production, monitoring impact and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Improve developer experience, tooling, and standards across the engineering team.
  • Implement security best practices in software development and infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience building modern web applications with both frontend and backend responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript; ability to pick up new languages and frameworks quickly.
  • Hands‑on experience with scalable, enterprise‑grade software systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to engage effectively with PMs, designers, and fellow engineers.
  • Familiarity with security standards, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise workflows.
  • Nice‑to‑have: experience in HR tech, financial platforms, B2B SaaS, or workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.
