Preply is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Barcelona to help shape the future of our learning platform. You will balance backend focus (Python/Django) with frontend work (React/Typescript), driving data-informed product decisions and scalable architecture.

You’ll mentor peers, raise engineering standards, and partner with product, data, and UX teams to deliver high-impact features. This is a hands-on, leadership‑oriented role in a fast-growing EdTech company.

Formación

• Backend-heavy full-stack role (60% backend, 40% frontend).
• Experience with Python/Django; React/Typescript preferred.
• English level B2 or higher; strong collaboration across teams.
• Ability to mentor and raise engineering quality across squads.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend features with Python/Django and integrate with vendors.
• Build frontend experiences in React/Typescript and support experimentation.
• Lead complex initiatives from discovery to deployment with ownership.
• Drive engineering excellence through reviews and best practices.
• Partner with Product/Data/UX to validate hypotheses and deliver impact.
• Shape system architecture for scalable, reliable services.
• Navigate trade-offs to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and on-call readiness.
