MediaMarktSaturn Plattform Services GmbH is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to shape our global webshop from Barcelona. You will design, build, and maintain scalable React/TypeScript applications, focusing on performance, accessibility, and robust UI components.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams, own features end-to-end, and contribute to testing strategies with RTL and Playwright. Flexible working hours and international collaboration are offered.

Formación

• 5–8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React.
• Experience building scalable frontend applications in production.
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with testing strategies and tools (RTL, Playwright).
• Experience integrating APIs, ideally GraphQL/REST.
• Practical experience using AI/agent systems.
• Ability to own features from concept to delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build and evolve reusable UI components and frontend architectures with focus on performance and accessibility.
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs (GraphQL/REST) for seamless experiences.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement (RTL, Playwright).
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Lead or contribute to feature planning, estimation, and implementation across streams.
• Drive frontend performance and developer experience improvements.
