Job summary

Heymondo seeks a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the frontend stack using Nuxt 4 and Vue 3. You will define technical standards, improve SEO across multi-market sites, and mentor peers in an Agile setup with product, design, and marketing.

You will drive accessibility, performance, and a scalable UI architecture, collaborating with backend teams to deliver high-quality, inclusive web experiences. Remote-friendly with an optional Barcelona office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in frontend development.
• Expert knowledge of Vue 3, Nuxt 4 and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with technical SEO in SSR applications.
• Strong accessibility skills (WCAG, ARIA, semantic HTML, screen reader testing).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience in Git and Code reviewing.
• Automated testing and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance apps with Nuxt 4 and Vue 3 (TypeScript).
• Own technical SEO: SSR/SSG strategy, metadata, structured data, hreflang and Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA) across all products.
• Perform code reviews and help define frontend standards and best practices.
• Plan and deliver work through Agile ceremonies, managed in Jira.

About the Role

Mission:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the development of our web applications built with Nuxt 4 and Vue 3. You’ll set technical standards, drive SEO and accessibility across our multi-market sites and mentor other developers, working closely with product, design, marketing and backend teams in an Agile environment. Your work will have a direct impact on organic acquisition, conversion and user experience and also new markets.

Key activities/responsibilities to perform:

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance applications with Nuxt 4 and Vue 3 (TypeScript).
• Own technical SEO: SSR/SSG strategy, metadata, structured data, hreflang and Core Web Vitals.
