SustainRecruit Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to own the frontend of a large-scale enterprise application. You’ll design and deliver fast, accessible user interfaces using modern frontend technologies while shaping a scalable design system.

Work with designers and backend engineers in an Agile team to build reusable components (Next.js, React, Tailwind) and ensure performance, test coverage with Vitest, and strong collaboration on architecture decisions.

Formación

• 6+ years of commercial frontend experience.
• Strong knowledge of React and Next.js.
• Experience with Storybook, Tailwind CSS, and REST APIs.
• Solid testing with Vitest and Git in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Build modern applications that make an impact.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of the frontend development of a large-scale enterprise application. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering intuitive, high-performance user experiences using the latest frontend technologies while helping shape the future of a scalable design system.

Working as part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll partner with designers, backend engineers and product teams to build robust, maintainable solutions used across a growing digital platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js.
• Build and evolve reusable UI components within a modern design system.
• Create responsive, accessible interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and document components using Storybook.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise application performance, maintainability and code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend challenges and champion best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years' commercial experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture and component-driven development.
• Experience with Storybook, Tailwind CSS and modern frontend best practices.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest.
• Strong Git workflow experience and Agile delivery experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience.
• Docker or containerisation knowledge.
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Familiarity with monorepos.
• Exposure to AWS or serverless environments.
• Experience with data visualisation libraries such as Chart.js, ECharts or D3.
