Skydance Media in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Senior Environment Modeling Artist to contribute to the film's visual development. You will collaborate with Production Designer and Art department to deliver a visually impressive look.

The role requires 5+ years in VFX/animation, strong 3D aptitude, and proficiency in Maya; knowledge of ZBrush, Arnold, SpeedTree, Houdini and Marvelous Designer is a plus. English is desirable; Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in VFX or animation industries.
• 3+ years in the animation industry.
• Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.
• Extensive experience with Maya.
• Experience with Zbrush, Arnold Render.
• Knowledge of SpeedTree, Houdini and Marvelous Designer areas pluses.
• Knowledge of skinning, rigging, technical constraints and optimization.
• High English level desirable.
• Spanish desirable.

Responsabilités

• Models utilizing photography and pre-existing models.
• Models from concepts following the look of the show.
• Has the ability to create, adapt, and iterate, within a variety of artistic styles.
• Models trees, bushes and other vegetation with the look of the movie.
• Has the ability to properly research and work independently in absence of concept art.
• Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
• Works together with the team providing support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
• Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.
