Bain & Company is hiring an Enterprise Data Architect in the EMEA practice. You will lead architecture engagements, develop enterprise-wide data platforms, and drive data strategy for large transformations across sectors.

Travel up to 50% is required, interacting with senior client executives and guiding multi-discipline teams. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in data architecture, strong leadership, TOGAF/DMBoK familiarity, and hands-on experience with Snowflake and MS Fabric.

Formación

• 15+ years in Data architecture and large-scale transformations.
• Deep understanding of data's role in enabling AI and delivery across data engineering, features, and MLOps.
• Strong client leadership and business development, incl. pre-sales.
• Experience leading complex Data Architectures and transformations across tech stacks.
• Familiarity with TOGAF and DMBoK; enterprise integration practices.
• Hands-on with modern data stacks (Snowflake, MS Fabric, cloud data platforms).
• End-to-end lifecycle experience in large, multi-year programs.
• Thought leadership in Master Data Management, data modernization, and AI adoption.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Curiosity, proactivity, critical thinking; able to work independently and with teams.
• Travel up to 50% as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead high-impact Data architecture workstreams in large transformations.
• Architect scalable, secure enterprise Data platforms across sectors.
• Define strategies for a modern Data Office within large organizations.
• Engage senior client executives as trusted advisor on data strategy and roadmaps.
• Be part of client leadership teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Lead teams of architects and consultants to deliver data platforms.
• Align outcomes with client IT needs and produce as-is / to-be artifacts.
• Create demand and co-develop PoVs for client expansion.
• Understand client business/tech challenges and apply architecture to solve them.
• Set direction in multi-million transformation engagements; collaborate with vendors.
• Act as independent design authority validating data proposals.
• Contribute to Bain teams on client cases and thought leadership.
• Mentor junior team members and grow the data practice community.
• Collaborate with leaders of other Vector guilds to deliver best outcomes.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of top-tier engineering talent.
• Travel as required, up to 50% of working time.
