Vinarchy is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Specialist to shape, stabilise and evolve our enterprise application landscape. You will bridge business needs with scalable ERP, IBP, workflows and JDE integrations, partnering with IT Operations and external partners.

You will lead solution design and delivery across the full lifecycle, ensuring quality, governance and continuous improvement within a multi-system environment. Hybrid work with a strong emphasis on collaboration.

About the role

The Senior Enterprise Applications Specialist plays a critical role in shaping, stabilising and evolving Vinarchy’s enterprise application landscape. Acting as a senior functional and technical specialist, this role bridges complex business needs with scalable technology solutions ERP, IBP, workflows and enterprise integration platforms, specifically JDE. Working closely with IT Operations, IT Solutions, business stakeholders and external support partners, the role provides deep functional expertise, leads solution design, and ensures high‑quality delivery, stability and continuous improvement of enterprise systems. The position requires strong analytical capability, technical understanding of integrations and data flows, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, multi‑system environments.

Key responsibilities Include:

Solution Design and Functional Leadership

• Lead the analysis and definition of complex business requirements across ERP, IBP, workflows and enterprise integration platforms.
• Translate business needs into high quality functional and non functional specifications aligned to enterprise architecture and best practice principles.
• Design end to end functional solutions, including process flows, data dependencies and integration touchpoints.
• Provide expert input into ERP and integration design decisions to improve scalability, performance and business outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business stakeholders on enterprise application capabilities and solution options.

Configuration, Delivery and Implementation

• Configure and customise enterprise applications to support complex business processes, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
• Partner with external support and delivery vendors to implement enhancements using established release and change frameworks.
• Lead functional delivery across the full lifecycle, from discovery and design through build, testing and deployment.
• Ensure all changes comply with governance, security and change management standards.
• Design and oversee custom configurations, scripts and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.

Testing, Quality and Knowledge Management

• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, integration and regression testing.
• Review and validate test outcomes to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Maintain high quality documentation, solution artefacts and a knowledge base of defects, resolutions and lessons learned.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and solution quality.

Incident, Problem and Operational Support

• Provide senior functional support for major incidents, including root cause analysis and long term remediation planning.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues across enterprise systems and backend platforms.
• Support critical releases and incidents outside of business hours when required.
• Partner with IT Operations to improve system stability, monitoring and support processes.

Stakeholder, Vendor and Capability Leadership

• Lead engagement with senior business stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights.
• Manage relationships with third party providers and outsourced support partners, ensuring delivery quality and value.
• Contribute to capability uplift within the IT Solutions team through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.
• Actively contribute to enterprise system roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Functional Analyst, Solution Analyst or Enterprise Applications Specialist supporting complex enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of commercial business processes and enterprise IT services within large or complex organisations.
• Proven experience across ERP systems, IBP processes, workflow solutions and enterprise integration platforms.
• Strong data analysis and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to identify root causes and drive sustainable solutions.
• Experience working with service management frameworks and tools (e.g. Ivanti) and outsourced delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in high‑pressure environments.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic mindset, identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline desirable but not essential.

Other requirements

• Some business travel may be required from time to time
• Occasional after‑hours work may be required to engage with stakeholders and team members across time zones
• Hybrid working arrangement with at least three days in the office
