A leading digital innovation firm in Madrid is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to lead the operation and development of their Nimbus cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in platform engineering, strong knowledge of Azure services, orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, and programming skills in Golang. This position offers a hybrid work model with a minimum office presence of 2 days, allowing for flexibility while contributing to meaningful digital innovations within a respected organization.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with CNI plugins and network configurations.
• Good understanding of main network concepts (TCP/IP layers, DNS, Routing).

In the course of the implementation of LGT‘s digital vision, LGT Digital Factory (DiF) acts as a strategic nearshore partner to implement state-of-the‑art digital products for clients and employees. Together with a young, highly motivated team you will help build and run the promising platform for Software developers. We seek a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team and take charge of operating and developing Nimbus, the cutting‑edge cloud development platform for software products. 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role

Qualifications

• SaaS Backend development, preferably in Go
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly AKS
• Proficient in container orchestration and Kubernetes administration
• Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration
• Expertise in developing custom Kubernetes operators using Kubebuilder
• Good understanding of main network concepts (TCP/IP layers, DNS, Routing)
• Experience with secret management solutions (External Secrets, Azure Key Vault, CSI drivers)
• Hands‑on experience with CNI plugins and network configurations
• Strong programming skills in Golang for backend services
• Advanced knowledge of scaled‑up GitLab CI/CD and GitOps practices
• Understanding of container security and network policies
• English Business fluent
