Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize complex manufacturing processes in our Valencia area facility. This role involves applying Six Sigma and Lean methods, designing experiments, qualifying processes, and addressing CAPAs and non-conformances to ensure compliant, efficient production.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering or science with relevant experience, be fluent in English and Spanish, and demonstrate strong documentation and collaboration

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 4 years experience.
• Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific field with 3 years experience.
• Ph.D. or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific field with industry experience.
• Fluent English & Spanish.
• Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Experience with lab/industrial equipment.
• Understanding of FDA regulations for medical device industry.

Responsabilidades

• Applies knowledge of technical principles to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and LEAN methods.
• Develop complex experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
• Analyze and resolve complex Manufacturing and Compliance issues (e.g., CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations).
• Develop training and documentation materials for production to enable knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.
• Lead and establish project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to customer’s expectations, using project management tools.
• Oversee manufacturing support tasks; train technicians and coordinate technician work.
