Ascendion is seeking a strong .NET/.NET Core Developer with ASP.NET Core Web API and REST API experience to join our engineering teams. You will design, implement, and deliver software components in an Agile environment, focusing on quality, scalability, and maintainability.

The role requires deep knowledge of multi-threading, Docker containerization, SQL/NoSQL databases, and messaging platforms like RabbitMQ or SignalR.

• Deep understanding of .NET/.NET Core and OO principles.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful APIs.
• Strong multi-threading and asynchronous programming skills.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on Docker/containerisation experience.
• Design experience with microservices or SOA architecture.
• Automated testing experience (NUnit/Moq/Cucumber).
• Experience with middleware messaging like RabbitMQ or SignalR.
• CI/CD experience with Git, TeamCity, etc.

We are looking for a strong .NET/.NET Core Developer with expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API, REST APIs, multithreading, microservices, Docker, SQL/NoSQL, and messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ/SignalR. The role involves technical design, software delivery, automated testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with partner technology teams in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities / Role

• Take responsibility for the software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met.
• Contribute and take ownership of the technical design and ensure all aspects of the system architecture are well documented.
• Work closely with partner technology teams and to collaborate effectively.

Technical Skills Required:

• Very deep understanding of .Net/.Net Core and Solid understanding of OO principles.
• Experience in ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful API techniques
• Solid understanding of and experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
• Familiar with SQL and NoSql databases
• Hands-on experience with containerisation solutions like Docker.
• Experience designing and building api based service oriented or microservice architectures.
• Diligent with automated testing i.e. Nunit/Moq/Cucumber etc.
• Strong experience with middleware messaging services like Rabbit MQ, TIBCO, SignalR etc.
• Solid experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Git, TeamCity etc.
