Santander in Madrid seeks a Senior Digital Product Analyst to support the Decide & Invest mission within Savings & Investments, translating strategy into detailed customer journeys and requirements.

Savings & Investments Domain is looking for a Senior Digital Product Analyst, based in Boadilla (Madrid).

As a Senior Digital Product Analyst, you will primarily support the Decide & Invest customer mission within Santander's global Savings & Investments platform, helping define how customers execute investments across multiple markets.

Working closely with the Digital Product Manager, you will translate product strategy into detailed customer journeys, functional requirements and scalable digital capabilities, helping build a seamless investment experience across multiple countries.

As part of the Global Digital Product team, you will also contribute to cross-stream initiatives whenever needed, collaborating across customer missions to deliver a coherent end-to-end product experience.

You will work at the intersection of business, customer experience and technology, collaborating with Product Managers, local markets and engineering teams to deliver innovative digital investment capabilities for millions of Santander customers.

In This Role You Will

Customer & Business

• Analyse customer needs, market trends and business priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and simplify investment journeys.
• Support the definition and monitoring of product KPIs.
• Contribute to product adoption and rollout activities across countries.

Product Definition

• Support the evolution of the Decide & Invest customer mission.
• Translate product strategy into detailed functional requirements and user stories.
• Design end-to-end customer journeys and digital experiences, covering onboarding, profiling, suitability, portfolios, investment execution and servicing.
• Define business rules, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.

Customer Experience & Journey Optimisation

• Help design intuitive investment journeys that increase customer engagement and reduce friction throughout the investment process.
• Identify opportunities to simplify complex investment concepts, regulatory requirements and customer communications.
• Contribute to the design of seamless onboarding, profiling, suitability, documentation and digital signature experiences.
• Challenge existing processes to make Regulatory and Compliance requirements as simple, intuitive and customer-friendly as possible while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Continuously improve customer understanding by simplifying financial information, decision-making and product interactions.

Product Delivery

• Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Refine and maintain the product backlog.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement and functional validation.
• Coordinate with countries to understand local needs while protecting the global product vision.
• Ensure high-quality product delivery across markets.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, Technology, Business and local teams.
• Support workshops, product discovery sessions and cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to cross-stream initiatives whenever priorities require additional support.
• Coordinate with internal and external providers where required.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst or similar role in digital environments.
• Experience translating business needs into customer journeys, functional requirements and scalable digital products
• Good understanding of digital product development and technology principles.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Agile product teams.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, countries and cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working across multiple product areas, contributing to cross-stream initiatives when business priorities require it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in digital banking, wealth management, fintech or digital platforms is highly valued.

Education

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data, Technology or related fields (Preferred)

Languages

• Fluent English and Spanish (Required).
