Sopra Steria in Barcelona is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international team on an cutting-edge Backstage.io Developer Portal project.

You will design, build and automate cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on GitOps, Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract, opportunities for certifications, and a strong focus on developer experience.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience with Backstage.io and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of AWS EKS, Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Strong CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Docker and cloud-native environments.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash; Agile workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and improve integrations within the Backstage.io platform.
• Build and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with international development and platform engineering teams.
• Drive automation, scalability, reliability and operational excellence.
• Contribute to improving developer productivity and platform adoption.
