Job summary

Jungheinrich Digital Solutions Spain in Madrid is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Developer to build and evolve our financial leasing solution landscape using RAP and Fiori Elements. You will translate business needs into scalable SAP applications, review architectures, and drive maintainable, upgrade-stable solutions within an agile delivery environment.

Key requirements include hands-on RAP, ABAP Cloud, and a solid understanding of Clean Core principles.

Qualifications

• Modern SAP S/4HANA development expertise with hands-on RAP, CDS-based VDM and Fiori Elements.
• Experience implementing financial leasing processes in SAP environments.
• Understanding of ABAP Cloud, extension points and upgrade-stable solutions following Clean Core.

About the role & responsibilities:

• Build, steer and further develop Jungheinrichs financial leasing solution landscape
• Develop modern, high-performance, secure and user-oriented business applications in SAP S/4HANA using RAP and Fiori Elements according to thespecified guidelines, particularly adhering to our Clean Core paradigm.
• Analyze and evaluate architectural changes across the process chain.
• Create functional specifications based on user stories
• Support and coordinate the implementation process
• Support testing, issue analysis

Requirements:

• Modern SAP S/4HANA development expertise, with strong hands-on experience in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), CDS-based VirtualData Models (VDM), and SAP Fiori Elements. The role requires the ability to design, build, and extend business applications and services using SAP's currentdevelopment standards.
• Strong ability and interest in financial leasing processes and their implementation in a SAP environment
• Solid understanding of ABAP Cloud and Clean Core principles, including the use of released APIs, extension points, and SAP-supported extensibilitymechanisms. Solutions should be designed to remain upgrade-stable and avoid modifications of the SAP standard wherever possible.
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions, taking architectural considerations, maintainability, and long-term systemevolution into account. The role includes contributing to development standards, reviewing architectural decisions, and promoting reusable developmentpatterns.
• Strong software engineering practices, including Clean ABAP, automated testing, code reviews, use of ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and collaboration inagile delivery environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence. The focus is on delivering readable, maintainable, and well-governed solutions within theSAP S/4HANA ecosystem
