A global payment solutions company is seeking an experienced Cloud DBA to scale their infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing large scale NoSQL databases in AWS, ensuring performance and reliability while collaborating with engineers. Ideal candidates have strong AWS and NoSQL experience, with a clear ability to communicate and work in remote teams.

Formación

• Strong experience with AWS and NoSQL technologies.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and high availability design.
• Comfortable owning production systems end to end.

I am hiring a Cloud DBA to help scale a global payments platform. The focus is on building and operating high performance, highly reliable database services in production. You will take ownership of NoSQL systems, strengthen automation, improve observability, and support the wider engineering group as they modernise the stack.

What you will work on:

• Running and improving large scale NoSQL databases in AWS
• Performance tuning, reliability engineering, and incident response
• Automation for provisioning, backups, and disaster recovery
• Migration projects and long term architectural improvements
• Partnering with engineers to build fast, stable, well governed data services

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience with AWS and NoSQL technologies
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and high availability design
• Comfortable owning production systems end to end
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues
• Clear communicator who works well in remote teams
