Job summary

Global M is seeking a Senior Data/Software Engineer in Barcelona with a hybrid work model. You’ll join a high‑performing data engineering team building large‑scale data products and cloud infrastructure.

You’ll craft data pipelines, contribute to a data mesh, migrate legacy systems, and collaborate with stakeholders to ship solutions. Ideal candidates excel in SQL, batch and streaming pipelines, AWS (Redshift), and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and ability to develop and optimize data pipelines.
• Experience building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AWS, Redshift, and Kubernetes in data engineering contexts.

We’re looking for a Senior Data/Software Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team working on large-scale data products and modern cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and data products
• Work within a data mesh architecture and contribute to domain data ownership

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with AWS, particularly Redshift, Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Someone who takes ownership and gets things shipped
