Btech (Barcelona Technical Center SL) is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join an automotive R&D project for an OEM client. You will analyse real-world vehicle and driving data and transform it into actionable insights.

You will develop interpretable features from telemetry, validate models, and collaborate with vehicle engineering teams. English proficiency and willingness to relocate to Brussels are required.

Formación

• Around 4–8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis, modelling and prototyping.
• Solid knowledge of statistics, machine learning, feature engineering and model validation.
• Ability to work independently with complex, real-world datasets.
• Strong communication skills and an engineering-oriented mindset.
• Professional level of English.
• Availability to relocate to Brussels and work on-site in a multicultural and international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse vehicle and driving data to identify patterns and behaviours.
• Develop interpretable features from telemetry and driving data.
• Link real-world data with surveys, personas and behavioural indicators.
• Test and validate analytical methods through PoCs on real-world data.
• Apply clustering, dimensionality reduction and other ML approaches and compare results.
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving analytical methodologies and data-driven decision making.
