Veriff is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, deploy and monitor machine learning models for identity verification. You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers and software engineers to develop document detection, data extraction and fraud detection algorithms.

You will own end-to-end projects from prototyping to production, focusing on biometrics and verification accuracy while operating in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Formación

• Experience building high-performance ML models for verification of documents.
• Theoretical and applied ML concepts with focus on CV, data extraction and anomaly detection.
• Hands-on with TensorFlow or PyTorch and gradient boosted libraries like XGBoost or CatBoost.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end identity verification ML models from prototyping to production and drive measurable impact in live environments.
• Own performance metrics like verification accuracy and false acceptance rates, pushing boundaries under high-security constraints.
• Influence in-house models, evaluate external vendors, and improve instrumentation for insights.
• Establish metrics, derive data-driven insights, and run experiments to assess product impact of biometric ML solutions on identity verification.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-impact features in the biometrics domain.
