Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Scientist - Data Science to advance GenAI, ML, and NLP methods for global clinical operations. The primary location is Hyderabad, with multiple sites considered.

The role requires a PhD in a quantitative field and 2+ years of industry Data Science experience, plus Python/SQL proficiency and LLM expertise using DSPy and LangChain. You will design data pipelines for enrollment forecasting, cost optimization, and site selection.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, biomedical informatics, applied mathematics).
• 2+ years of industry Data Science experience delivering on predictive technologies, forecasting, NLP, or ML projects.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL; hands-on with LLM frameworks and finetuning techniques (DSPy, LangChain).

Responsabilités

• Conceive, develop, and implement GenAI and ML solutions to support clinical trial operations.
• Fine tune and adapt large language models (LLMs) to create solutions including trial protocol analytics and enrollment eligibility.
• Leverage data sources to build tools for cost optimization and enrollment scenarios.
• Contribute to patient modeling and enrollment simulations for accurate projections.
• Explain technical methods and results clearly to diverse audiences to drive decisions.
