Job summary

Baxter Planning Systems, Inc. is seeking a data scientist to develop end-to-end ML solutions in a remote-friendly Barcelona-based team. You will design experiments, build end-to-end pipelines in Python, and collaborate with product teams to deliver AI-powered improvements.

You will leverage Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost, and cloud environments (AWS). A technical degree and 3+ years in data science are required; strong Python, SQL, and version control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in engineering, CS, physics, maths, or quantitative economics.
• 3+ years of data science experience evidenced by projects or employment.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain ML models.
• Experience with ML libraries: Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.

Responsibilities

Location

• Work with costumers and product teams to create innovative solutions using ML models.
