Job summary

team.blue is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve its central data ecosystem. You will architect and scale data products that serve as the single source of truth for 60+ brands, enabling AI, BI, and analytics across Europe.

You will design robust pipelines, govern data quality, and partner with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate business needs into high-performing technical solutions. A senior, hands-on leader with deep Databricks expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, STEM, or a related quantitative field.
• Track record deploying stable, high-performance data solutions that drive measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the Data Infrastructure (Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Gitlab & AWS).
• Design and deliver scalable data products providing a unified source of truth.
• Build and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large data volumes.
• Lead secure, cost-efficient data architectures with best practices in modeling and orchestration.
• Establish data governance with lineage, metadata, and quality controls.
