Job summary

Webologix Ltd/ Inc is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, test and deploy robust data solutions on AWS. The role focuses on scalable data pipelines, data lakes, lake houses and data mesh architectures, with collaboration across analytics, engineering and DevOps teams.

You will work with S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2 and Lambda to deliver data warehouses and marts, ensure data quality, security and compliance, and own projects from inception to delivery.

Qualifications

3+ years of cloud experience.
Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, Lambda).
Strong SQL and ETL design/data modelling skills.
Ability to design robust data pipelines and architectures.
Attention to data quality, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and platforms on AWS.
Implement data lake, lake house, or data mesh architectures.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and records management policies.
Troubleshoot data issues and support change management processes.
Demonstrate ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
