Job summary

Astrafy SA is seeking a Team Leader who will guide a 5‑member data squad, bridging business and technical use cases. You will design scalable data pipelines with Airflow, dbt, and BigQuery, while optimizing cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud and applying Terraform for IaC.

A strong focus on data governance, quality, and architecture evolution is expected. You will mentor teammates, drive project delivery, and foster continuous learning in a flexible, remote work environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with mentorship of a small team and growth of team capabilities.
• Strong background building data pipelines on modern stack (Airflow, dbt, BigQuery).
• Experience in cloud data platforms (Google Cloud) and IaC tooling (Terraform).
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security practices.
• Ability to evolve data architectures to handle growing data and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Step into a Team Leader role and mentor a squad of 5 engineers.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and BigQuery.
• Optimize data infrastructure in Google Cloud for performance and cost.
• Use Terraform to automate provisioning and manage containerized workloads.
• Implement data governance, security, and quality across the data lifecycle.
• Evolve architecture to meet changing business needs and scale data solutions.
• Promote innovation by evaluating new data technologies and best practices.
