Roche PT Digital & Operational Excellence is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data infrastructure powering pharmaceutical operations and data products. You will collaborate with data scientists, SMEs, and fellow engineers to curate, transform and engineer features for modeling approaches.

You will design scalable pipelines, lead the creation of FAIR data products, ingest data from diverse sources into Snowflake, model data landscapes with ERDs, and mentor junior engineers

Formación

• 6+ years in data engineering with large-scale systems design.
• Experience leading junior data engineers across projects.
• Proficiency with data quality and observability tools (Ataccama, Monte Monte Carlo).

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and storage solutions for real-time and batch processing.
• Lead the creation of FAIR data products for decision-making and data integrity.
• Acquire, ingest, and process data from diverse sources into Snowflake.
• Model data landscapes, define secure exchange methods, and develop ERDs and reusable pipelines.
• Coach junior data engineers and foster best practices and DevOps/data streaming culture.
• Uphold data governance standards to ensure regulatory compliance and data quality.
• Contribute to templates and best practices for the technology stack.
