Sita - Société Internationale De Télécommunications, based in Barcelona, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable cloud data products, APIs, and data pipelines. You will work with a cross‑functional team to translate requirements into reliable, high‑quality data solutions.

Formación

• 3–5 years backend experience with large company systems
• Proficient in Java and TypeScript, with OOP focus
• Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture
• REST API design; GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, Kafka
• SQL and Python proficiency
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving

In this role you’ll help advance the Air Transport Industry data platform by designing and delivering scalable cloud data products. You’ll build APIs and backend systems, work with pipelines and data from airports and airlines, and enable insights for ML models. You’ll join the Central Data Platform Team to shape TAM, SITA’s flagship data-driven product for the industry, leveraging modern architectures and AI-assisted interfaces.
