Lengow is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Tech, Data, and Product team in Europe. You’ll work on vast data sets across catalogs, products, and e-commerce sites to unlock business value and support data-driven decision making.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and lead projects that shape our data strategy, with emphasis on scalable data transformation and analytics tools. Join a proactive, autonomous team in a hybrid setup across Barcelona, Nantes, and Paris.

Formación

• 5+ years in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong coding, data modeling, and design skills; align solutions with business goals.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to mentor teammates.

Our Tech & Data Team

The Tech, Data, and Product team comprises 70+ people from diverse backgrounds, working in our offices in Nantes, Paris, and Barcelona. Our products are developed thanks to six autonomous product teams, each working on a specific business domain. Each team is led by a Product Manager and Engineering Manager working with a dedicated small team of developers (4 to 8 people).

Your Mission

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our newly formed team. With access to vast data—thousands of catalogs, millions of products, and billions of entries scraped from countless e-commerce websites—you’ll play a pivotal role in unlocking its full potential and driving impactful value for European e-commerce leaders.

You’ll work closely with technical and business stakeholders, taking ownership of impactful projects that drive business growth and shape our data strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an expert in our data models, tools, and 4 flagship products.
• Drive the technical evolution of our data transformation.
• Lead key technical projects in our data roadmap, such as product analytics initiatives, data model reviews and frameworks to manage data products for clients efficiently.
• Build internal insights tools for employees (dashboards, reports).
• Continuously document progress, solutions, and best practices.

Recruitment Process- Pre-interview: Chat with Alexandre, Head of People (30').

• Team interview: Meet Sebastien (VP Data) and team members (60').
• Final interview: Present a technical case to Sebastien and Olivier (Chief Product and Technology Officer) (60').

We’re seeking a proactive, collaborative, and impact-driven data expert to join our agile team. Here’s what you bring to the table:

• Experience: 5+ years in data engineering or a similar role, with a track record of delivering business impact.
• Expertise: skilled in coding, data modeling and design, and aligning technical solutions with business goals.
• Collaboration: a natural mentor and communicator who fosters teamwork and inspires those around them.
• Mindset: a proactive, autonomous professional. Working in a small team can mean juggling with roles of Data Analyst, Data Engineer, BI Developer, etc.
• Tools & tech: experience with SQL, BigQuery, Google Cloud, ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Talend, Apache NiFi), and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio).
