Job summary

IREN Spain is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager – OFCI Mechanical to lead sourcing and contracting for owner-furnished cooling and mechanical equipment for the data center programme. You will manage a broad equipment portfolio across dry coolers, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, CDUs, fans, pumps and AHUs, ensuring schedule adherence, performance guarantees and favorable commercial terms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years leading sourcing of HVAC / cooling equipment for data centers or similar facilities.
• Solid technical understanding of data center cooling architectures to challenge specs and trade-offs with Engineering.
• Experience negotiating multi-million-euro OEM contracts and working with OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the category strategy for OFCI mechanical equipment across sites and future developments.
• Lead end-to-end tenders for cooling equipment, evaluate bids on energy, lead time, and warranties, and secure awards.
• Negotiate frame agreements with OEMs including delivery schedules, maintenance, and service terms.
• Coordinate with construction procurement and ensure clear OEM interfaces in contracts.
• Handover awarded packages to Supply Chain with complete documentation and support expediting.
