Agilent Technologies is seeking a Data Architect to own discovery and access for a federated platform serving scientific data and AI workflows. You will define architectures for data catalogs, read paths, and data services with governance and implementation involvement across engineering teams.

You will collaborate on schemas, contracts, and data pipelines, balancing on-premises, hybrid, and cloud strategies while ensuring provenance and security for AI-enabled access.

Formación

• Has 8+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or architecture with distributed systems and APIs.
• Owns architecture decisions and can show tradeoffs and governance.
• Reads production code in a typed language and can build proofs of concept.

Responsabilidades

• Define catalog and access boundaries, contracts, and integration patterns.
• Own schemas and contracts for data catalogs, subgraph boundaries, and data views.
• Design AI access paths with provenance and security in mind.
• Draft architecture decision records and communicate with engineers and stakeholders.
• Plan modernization paths from on-premises to hybrid or cloud.
