We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the architecture and evolution of an enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.
This is a strategic technical leadership role combining enterprise data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, cloud data platforms and team leadership. You will define architectural standards, shape the data platform roadmap and lead technical teams delivering scalable, secure and governed data solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Define the long-term enterprise data architecture and data platform roadmap, aligned with business and organizational objectives;
- Architect enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory, Power BI and Real-Time Intelligence;
- Design lakehouse, medallion and data mesh architectures, including standards for ingestion, processing, storage, security, governance and data quality;
- Lead and mentor Data Platform DevOps, data engineering and report development teams, providing architecture guidance, reviews and technical coaching;
- Establish architectural standards for ETL/ELT, data integration, security, RBAC, metadata management, scalability, disaster recovery and business continuity;
- Guide platform engineering and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, monitoring and capacity planning;
- Drive data governance and architectural decision-making, working with business, technical, governance and compliance stakeholders;
- Present architecture strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating complex technical decisions into business impact.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or enterprise architecture;
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions in enterprise environments;
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS or GCP;
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric or related Microsoft data solutions, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory, Power BI, Real-Time Intelligence or Azure Synapse;
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures for complex, mission-critical environments;
- Strong expertise in data lakehouse architecture, medallion patterns, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modelling and data governance;
- Experience developing data pipelines using PySpark and SQL;
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, IAM, data quality and metadata management;
- Experience with data mesh, self-service data platforms, multi-region or multi-cloud architectures, Microsoft Purview, Kubernetes, real-time analytics, MLOps or Data Vault would be an advantage.
- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications would be an advantage.
