Accenture España seeks an experienced Knowledge Graph Engineer to join our Data & AI practice in Spain. You will lead technical design from domain modelling to production deployment, working across AWS and Azure with graph tools to deliver scalable AI and KG solutions.

This hybrid role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams, shaping technical direction, and contributing to Accenture sales efforts while mentoring a team and exploring new methodologies.

We are looking for experienced Knowledge Graph Engineers to join our Data & AI practice in Spain.

This role is available in Seville, Málaga, Alicante, or Gijón and follows a hybrid working model, combining remote work with in-office collaboration to foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and close teamwork.

Candidates must reside in Spain and hold a valid permit to work in Spain.

YOU ARE

Technical expert in graph data architecture and ontology engineering, capable of designing and delivering semantic data solutions across industries and technology stacks. Works as the lead architect in delivery engagements, owning the technical design from domain modelling through to production deployment. Operates across AWS and Azure environments and across a broad range of graph and semantic tooling. You lead a significant knowledge engineering scope and function within a large program; actively contribute to thought leadership. You shape how a substantial body of work formulates real‑world problems into scalable AI and KG solutions, and set the technical direction for that scope. You lead a team and guide exploration and implementation of new methodologies, model building techniques, and cutting‑edge algorithms. You remain at the forefront and drive innovation by applying these techniques to new business problems, use cases, and scenarios. You design, evaluate, and maintain ontologies, and establish the standards others follow. You justify the value to business and technology stakeholders, and construct the methodologies and data architectures that demonstrate it. You publish or present perspective beyond the immediate project. You work across business and technical teams to drive end‑to‑end delivery for their scope.

THE WORK

• Leads the build of Knowledge Graph solutions that transform a client's data architecture within program scope.
• Directs the design, development, and implementation of AI and semantic solutions, ensuring all the pieces work together seamlessly.
• Works with project leaders, delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand‑out, graph-powered Data & AI offerings.
• Develops strong client relationships and earns the trust of key advisors.
• Makes the business case for the semantic layer solution recommended to the client.
• Contributes meaningfully to Accenture sales and pre‑sales efforts.
• Provides thought leadership on technology trends, new opportunities, innovations, and foreseeable limitations, risks, and concerns.

EDUCATION

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

Basic (required) Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus at least 3 of the following:
• Proven experience in data engineering, software engineering, or AI engineering, with solutions deployed in production.
• Experience with strong knowledge of relational databases, object stores, graph databases (Stardog, Neo4J, Amazon Neptune, Azure Cosmos DB, Allegro Graph), and vector databases.
• Strong proficiency in graph query languages: SPARQL and/or Gremlin / Cypher
• Hands‑on experience with at least two graph database platforms across different paradigms (RDF triple store + property graph)
• Experience integrating graph layers with enterprise metadata and governance platforms (Collibra, Informatica, Apache Atlas, Alation or similar)
• Cloud data architecture competence on AWS and/or Azure: storage, processing, and orchestration layers
• Strong Python skills with experience in frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, with tools for building ETL pipelines (e.g. Apache NiFi, Airflow) and advanced SQL as everyday working tools.
• Experience in schema design, ontology management, and KG curation
• Having worked in designing and developing Knowledge Graph solutions and graph‑based ML models (functional + technical)
• Experience with end‑to‑end data pipeline implementation for AI applications (esp. LLMs), with hands‑on design and configuration
• Fluency Spanish and a high level of understanding and communicating in English

Preferred Qualification

• Proven hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Practical experience with NLP and/or Search techniques
• Prompt engineering, and LLMs for enterprise-scale applications.
• You have team lead experience
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering, research, and product teams across multiple time zones.
• You have external client-facing consulting experience
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Broad experience in diverse ML techniques and agentic systems.
